There are many subdivisions catering to tennis players with courts available for league and fun play.

2017 Annual Report on the Charleston Area Housing Market

There are further positive signs on the horizon, as bui...

About Shem Creek

I LOVE Shem Creek. It is one of my favorite all time places to be!

Read more about Shem Creek, area restaurants and activities here.

Small and Unique Neighborhood

While driving over the Shem Creek bridge towards downtown Charleston you are sure to notice the docks on the right. These docks are in Millwood, a small and unique neighborhood with just sixteen homes. Turn right onto Pelzer and you will find yourself on the tree lined street where some of the homes were built in the 60's and 70's. Don't blink, because once you cross the first intersection (and you are still on Pelzer) it turns into Cooper Estates.  See the visual below. The yellow numbers mark Millwood ho...

Parking, public restrooms, educational plaques, and a long creekfront boardwalk make this park special. The boardwalk runs from Coleman Boulevard to near the mouth of t...
