Our latest featured neighborhood is Brickyard Plantation

Brickyard Plantation boasts a piece of Mount Pleasant’s and Charleston’s past. Many of the bricks you see in colonial Charleston homes and sidewalks were made here by the kilns that once fired at the old brickyard. This area was once a fully functional brickyard for colonial Charleston and outlying areas. The famous Boone Hall Plantation was built with bricks made from the unique clay surrounding these historic grounds.
