Gotta LOVE Charleston & TENNIS, it’s a MATCH made in heaven!
If you are an avid tennis player like myself, you already know how many wonderful tennis facilities are located in the Charleston area, especially in Mount Pleasant and Daniel Island.
The climate is ideal for year round play and there are so many leagues available to join and of course Daniel Island is home to the world famous Volvo Car Open played here each Spring.
There are many subdivisions catering to tennis players with courts available for league and fun play.
Park West, Dunes West, Hamlin Plantation, Wild Dunes & Snee Farm just to name a few. If you are in search for a tennis pro and tennis lessons, The Club at Daniel Island, Family Circle Tennis Center, I’On Club & LTP are excellent facilities offering lessons and league play.
Tennis is a fun sport that anyone can learn to play at any age. Besides the health benefits, there is also a social side to tennis. I have made so many good friends over the years, nothing like a glass of wine or a cold beer after an exhilarating win or tough loss!
