Ravens Run | Mount Pleasant Real Estate
Ravens Run is one of the few gated communities in Mount Pleasant. Most of the lots have high-end executive style homes ranging in size from 2,700 to 7,000+ square feet with three to seven bedrooms. Lot sizes are spacious with at least half an acre or more. Most of these lots have views of the community lake which is centrally located in the neighborhood. Other lots have panoramic views of the marsh. What makes Ravens Run the most unique though is that it is a fly-in community. Rarely used, this grass landing strip can accommodate only small planes.
Location, location, location! Ravens Run is located off Rifle Range Road, minutes to the Isle of Palms, Towne Centre, and Seaside Farms Shopping Center. The main road is Omni Boulevard, a circle which surrounds the main lake. There are four streets and cul-de-sacs: Vasi Court, Bearing Court, Azimuth Court, and Aztec Lane. Construction began in this community of 93 home sites in the mid-1980s. Most have been improved, but there are still a handful of vacant lots. Most of the homes are older, but there have been a few new builds within the last ten years.
This neighborhood has a lakeside clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, boat ramp, boat storage, airstrip, play park, walking trails, and a community crabbing dock. Shopping and Dining Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is only a mile and a half away. This open-air shopping center has over 60 stores and restaurants. Also, there is a 16-screen Regal Palmetto Grande Cinemas movie theatre. You’ll find national and local retail stores such as Belk, Southern Living Store, Napa Mount Pleasant, REEDS Jewelers, Soft Surroundings, ULTA Beauty, and Vestique. Restaurants include Burtons Grill, P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, and Grimaldi’s Pizzeria. Seaside Farms Shopping Center is another popular shopping location for Mount Pleasant locals. Seaside Farms has stores such as Target and Harris Teeter for your everyday needs and unique boutiques and national retailers, too. Restaurants include Gilligan’s Seafood Restaurant, Deroma’s Pizzeria, Saveurs du Monde Cafe, Yamato Japanese Steakhouse, Calder's Buffalo Pub Restaurant, Basil Thai Cuisine, and Opal Restaurant and Bar. There are also a number of health and medical service businesses in this shopping center.
